Calling all local food businesses!
Are you a restaurant, bakery, café, eatery, grocery store, supermarket, hotel, or an institution/organization that provides meals or food services and has extra food on hand? If so, let’s work together to put it to good use.
At Meals That Matter, food donors are at the heart of our mission. We’re constantly seeking new partners and opportunities to rescue and redirect surplus food—transforming what might otherwise go to waste into nutritious meals and food products for those in need or who can make meaningful use of them.
When you donate surplus food, you're doing more than fighting hunger—you’re preventing edible food from becoming waste and ending up in landfills, cutting methane emissions, promoting sustainability by supporting a circular food economy that conserves resources, and helping to build a sustainable and resilient local food system in the fight against climate change—all while celebrating diversity and strengthening community, connection, and belonging through equitable food access.
We understand your time is valuable and your schedule is busy, so we make the donation process simple and convenient. We’ll work with you to arrange flexible pickup times tailored to your operations. Whether it’s unsold baked goods, prepared meals, fresh produce, or pantry items nearing expiration, your donations help keep perfectly good food out of landfills—redirecting it to individuals and families in need, as well as to programs, groups, and organizations that can use it to nourish their staff, volunteers, and the communities they serve.
Food insecurity continues to affect far too many individuals and families. That’s why your support matters. By partnering with us, you're not only helping others—you’re joining a growing movement toward a more sustainable and equitable local food system.
Ready to make a difference with the food you can’t sell? Please fill out the form below and we'll get back to you as soon as possible to coordinate logistics.
Let’s feed communities, protect the planet, and fight food waste—one donation at a time.
